Weeding Wednesdays
The season is in full bloom and we are looking for volunteers to help our team keep our flower fields beautiful. While our flowers are growing leaps and bounds every day, that also means the weeds are growing too, especially as we are a chemical-free farm.
Whether you are looking for a weekly volunteer opportunity or just some one-time outdoor fun, we’d love to welcome you to our farm.
The Details:
· * Work a 3-hour shift on Wednesday(s) and receive a free bouquet from Idlewild as a thank you for your help. The shift can happen between 8 am – 3 pm. We’ll reach out to schedule your shift with you.
· * Work will be outside and can get dirty, so please dress accordingly, bring hydration, snacks and sun protection as needed.
· * All ages are welcome with children under 14 accompanied by an adult.
· * Groups are also welcome. Just let us know how many will be coming.
· * If you are looking for volunteer credit for school activities, we are happy to accommodate.
